Abandoned Structures
Things Forgotten
I have been intrigued by forgotten places for some time now. It’s interesting that we can build a park and after a few years when people lose interest in it we just put a fence around it, padlock it and set it aside for someone else to deal with. Yet, we can build hundreds of Dunkin Donuts, McDonald’s, and Wal-Marts just to have more stuff to throw away. Honestly, I am guilty of it too. We all are. Just once, I would like to see a park put up where a Wal-Mart used to be!!!!

I am a local photographer in search of hidden beauty among our broken down world. As a medium for my work I chose to use an old 8x10 & 12x20 view cameras. The images are than contact printed from the 8x10 & 12x20 negatives so I can show their true depth. I feel that viewing a contact print is like viewing a new world. I want to show every detail, texture, and paint smear that my subjects have to offer. All prints are hand developed with archival papers and techniques. Any questions please feel free to e-mail me.
